After years working within the limits of realism, I developed a clear and effective method to merge these two worlds — the same method I teach inside Rosso Art School.
The school is structured around three core programs — START, COMPLETE and MASTER PATH — depending on your goals and the level of support you want:
START Program

A 30+ hours program dedicated entirely to Portraiture - from drawing, to creating fully accomplished paintings in oil or acrylics with luminous skin tones, original compositions, and textured grounds.
If you are tired of portraits that feel flat, lifeless or get muddy, this program will give you the tools and clarity to create confident, dimensional, compelling portraits for the rest of your artistic journey.
COMPLETE Program

Over 60 hours of guided study — from portraiture and colour, to expressive abstract grounds and contemporary figurative painting.
This program is ideal for artists who want to understand my full method and use these tools to explore their own voice and style.

I’m Rosso — painter, educator, and founder of Rosso Art School.
I’ve been painting for over sixteen years — pushing the boundaries of realism, experimenting with both traditional and unconventional approaches, until I developed a method that bridges both realms. That is when my art and career took a steady new turn.
Snce then, my work has been exhibited internationally (MEAM Museum, Mall Galleries, Soho House Collection ); featured by Colossal, My Modern Met, International Artist Magazine, The Artist Magazine (UK). I’ve also appeared twice on Sky Portrait Artist of the Year; been finalist in the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize and ModPortrait, and won Jackson’s Painting Prize and the Women in Art Prize.
I now share my method with a community of over 188K artists and art lovers on Instagram — and through my school here.
