I'm Rosso Emerald Crimson, artist and founder of Rosso Art School.
I always wanted to paint portraits that felt deeply emotional and contemporary at the same time. It took me years to master my process: on one side, pushing my portraits beyond likeness; on the other, creating a seamless transition between the figure and the background so that the surface becomes part of the painting — not decoration, and never competing with it.

Here's a bit more about me and why I created RossoArtSchool...
In case you are wondering where in the world I am, I live happily in UK (Oxford/London) since early 2000.
I have been painting for over 15 years, teaching for 6, and finally founded Rosso Art School in 2024 to bring my entire method together in one place. Overall, I've taught over 1,000 students worldwide through both in-person workshops and online classes — over 450 have joined RossoArtSchool, and the community keeps expanding both here and with over 190K followers on Instagram
