In-Person Workshops & Retreats

My in-person workshops are immersive, hands-on experiences designed to sharpen how you see, strengthen how you paint, and reconnect you with your working process.

Each workshop is built around the same core method I use in my own practice.

We work intensively, with individual guidance throughout. You’ll learn the approach I’ve refined over more than 15 years of professional practice — from building solid portrait structure, to creating expressive grounds, to integrating figure and abstraction into a cohesive visual language — applying it immediately with direct feedback and support.

This is not academic training. These workshops reflect how painting actually happens — through experimentation, material dialogue, and learning how to respond when things stop making sense.

They are also a pause from daily routines: focused time to slow down, work deeply, and paint in environments chosen to support concentration and presence. Many artists describe these workshops as a turning point in how they approach their work.
