A Weekend Painting Workshop in Paris
In March 2026, you have a rare opportunity: two days on the 28th floor of a building about to be demolished, with 360° views across Paris and complete creative freedom.
This isn't a typical workshop. The space is empty. There are no rules. You can spill paint on the floors, scrape walls, work as wildly as you want— the perfect chance to test materials and experiment with abstract/figurative without restrictions.
What "Bootcamp" Means
Here it means:
- Time: a weekend, not months to perfect
- Space: Empty floors, minimal conditions
- Freedom: Permission to mess up
This is about experimenting with realism and distressed grounds, testing materials, and discovering what your practice looks like when you work fast and bold.
What You'll Do
We'll spend our time:
- Building expressive grounds—layering, scraping, creating texture
- Experimenting with portraiture / figurative on distressed grounds
- Testing materials
- Working fast—bold marks, quick decisions
I'll be painting alongside you and offering guidance, and creative input throughout. You're strongly encouraged to experiment.
