Welcome
I'm Rosso. I have painted full time for seventeen years, and I have taught more than 1,500 students, online and in person.
I offer one-on-one mentorship because artistic growth is not always just about painting. Sometimes, it’s about overcoming fear, breaking through creative blocks, and letting go of the limitations we place on ourselves.
That’s why I believe so strongly in direct, personal, human connection. Having the space to discuss your work, question your approach, exchange perspectives, and explore new possibilities can be just as transformative as learning a new technique.
When we look at your paintings together, I can see what is holding you back and what is already working. Then we decide the next step together.
Mentorship is for artists with painting experience who want to go further: to solve a problem in their work, to develop their own style, or to build a body of work. If this sounds like you, I would be happy to work with you.

What's included
Live video sessions
We work together in real time. You share your canvas and I respond directly. About one hour per session.
Painting feedback
Send me your work between sessions. I review it and send you written notes on what is working and what to address next.
Email access
You can write to me throughout: for questions, when you feel blocked, or when you need advice in the middle of a painting.

Two ways to work with me
Start with a single Intro Session, or commit to six months of Full Mentorship.
Intro Session
A single session to look at your work together, understand where you are, and identify what's most in need of attention. There's no commitment beyond this. Some people leave with enough to work on independently for months. Others use it as the start of a longer engagement.

Full Mentorship
For artists who want to make a substantial shift — in the quality of their work, in how they understand their own practice, or in moving toward a coherent body of work. Six months gives us space to go deep and build something that lasts. BONUS: Include full access to Complete Program. $340/month (6 monthly instalments) or pay in full.

Full Mentorship includes COMPLETE
When you join Full Mentorship, you also get lifetime access to COMPLETE, my full painting programme. It has over 60 hours of video demonstrations and downloadable guides: head anatomy, colour and skin tones, oil portraits step by step, abstract textured grounds in mixed media, and my process for large paintings.
You can refer to the modules at any time, but you will not follow them alone. Over the six months, we work on your own plan together, and we change it as your work develops.

3. We make a plan
Before the first session, we agree on a clear focus: what we work on, in what order, and with what goal.
4. We work together
Live sessions, painting feedback and email access, all specific to your practice. Most students see a change in their work from the very first session.
